Why we climb

On top of the Cavall Bernat in Mallorca, after having climbed 'La nit du moscards' (350m, IV+) on the Farallones de Cavall Bernat.

The cliffs from the tiny boat we used for the approach

La nit du moscards detailed on the cliff. The bottom arrow indicates where we jumped off the boat and clung to the cliff. It also indicates the exact place where I started having second thoughts…

Me, having second thoughts while I watch the tiny boat disappear beyond the horizon.

First pitch

Undisclosed pitch.

Entrepà time. Chilling out in the cave 2/3 of the way up.

4 pitches to go.

Belaying on the second to last pitch
