Mamiya 645, a set on Flickr.
Week 3 without the A7R, which is sitting on the bench of Pencoed Sony service UK waiting to receive new lens mount and new sensor. The mount has arrived, the sensor has not. Will likely have to wait another couple of weeks, and it is driving me nuts, of course. Hence I have shot a couple of film rolls, specifically a Ilford HP5 on the Leica M3 and some Ektar 100, Portra 400 and Reala 100 on the Mamiya 645. Clearly I am still waiting for these to be developed and scanned, therefore I have to retrospectively share my first rolls with the Mamiya. The scans were a free CD included with the development, so quality is rather poor, but I still like the shots very much. This time I have asked High Res TIFF scans, which are insanely expensive, but I would like to see what happens. I tried scanning myself, but it is a very unrewarding experience, that takes literally ages to complete and with very average results. Anyway, here comes a selection on Flickr. Taken with Kodak Ektar 100 and Portra 400, on a Mamiya 645 Pro (non TR), with Sekor 80mm f2.8 N.
